Perhaps you are feeling that something isn't right. You are confused, anxious, sad or you are just going through a rough transition. We can work together to identify and work through the problem. I use close empathetic listening to help you understand what is going on. Therapy begins when we can be attuned to ourselves and understand the past while changing our world to move forward. Entering therapy is difficult since we, usually, seek it when in crisis. We need to change but because some of what we carry has been useful to us, we resist giving it up. I will work with you to build a safe and empathic space where your new insights will allow you to work with your past and heal so you can move forward. Finding the right therapist is key. The “right therapist” is the right one for you. In our first few sessions we assess each other to see whether I’m a good fit for you and can help you work through your problems. If for any reason we are not the right fit, I will work with you to help you find the right therapist. I look forward to hearing from you.
