I specialize in helping families strengthen relationships and helping parents learn how to manage their children's difficult behaviors. So many caregivers feel at a loss about how to support their child in learning to regulate their emotions or listen; children may not have the skills to calm themselves down without yelling or crying, or they may struggle to maintain attention or practice safe behaviors. My goal is to help you feel empowered by learning the skills to change your child's behavior and help them learn more effective strategies to grow. Through Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), you will gain all of those skills and learn how to shift your child's behavior through positive attention and consistent, predictable discipline strategies. I provide live coaching and feedback so that you have support in the moment and learn to navigate stressful situations with your child. The therapeutic relationship is key to success, and I create a warm, nurturing space in which you will feel heard, understood, and be better able to work toward change. I tailor my coaching and any additional, evidence-based strategies to each family and individual child/caregiver. Let's discuss how I can support you in your growth.
