Everyone eventually comes upon a life situation that confuses or distresses them. I believe that is part of the human condition. Whether it be situational anxiety or depression, trauma, mental illness or addiction, nobody gets through life without experiencing something. These life events serve as wake up calls to help us make changes and live a more fulfilling life. It is helpful to have someone to navigate new territory with, someone who has been there themselves, to help find a better way. And that's what I am here to help you do, find a better way that leads to a more fulfilling life. I believe a collaborative approach works best in making lasting change. My therapeutic approach is primarily experiential, although I am eclectic. Research studies have shown people are able to cognize ideas better with exercises that include body memory. When you feel things in your body you are more likely to have an "aha" moment. I am trained in Brainspotting, EMDR, Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy, and Somatic Experiencing to help with trauma and PTSD. I facilitate experiential sessions that may include artwork and guided meditation. I work with sound healing and the crystal bowls.
