At Psychotherapy Services of RI I try to help my clients understand their feelings, face their challenges, build their self-confidence and self esteem, learn how to manage life's many challenges and problems, and find a renewed sense of purpose and peace. I bring years of experience and a wealth of knowledge. I first started out as a foster care and adoption caseworker then became a clinician in mental health agencies. I worked for twenty years in special education as a school social worker and opened this practice in 2005. I offer talk therapy in person and through telehealth services. My goal is to help individuals heal from their trauma, learn healthier ways to think about themselves, develop new insight and improved sense of self-worth. Ideally to help clients develop more effective coping skills to manage life's daily stress. At Psychotherapy Services of RI we offer personalized service, a friendly voice, and respectful confidential therapy.
