About

Hello, and welcome to my practice. I am a Vermont Licensed Psychologist-Master specializing in relationship conflicts, interpersonal communication skills, anxiety, work and employment stress, life changes and transitions, parenting issues, depression, and grief. My services are available to male and female adults. I have over 35 years of professional experience in private practice, hospital based services and community mental health. I have been practicing in Vermont since 1980.

I draw on a wide range of techniques as appropriate for each client's unique situation. These include solution-focused strategies, insight, learning new skills such as assertiveness, relaxation, stress management, and self compassion. My strength is in helping clients find new ways of thinking about and handling life challenges as they arise.

My style is flexible and interactive, with a focus on enhancing clients' skills in problem solving and decision making strategies. I derive great satisfaction from providing my clients with a supportive and positive therapeutic experience while helping them feel better, and achieve a greater understanding of themselves.
