Being a person is hard. We often don’t know we need help until we are either suffering badly or in crisis and can’t get out using the tools and knowledge we have. I am here to help. Asking for help is the first, and typically the hardest step in the healing journey. If it were easy, everyone would do it. I am confident in my skills to both hold space and help guide you in healing through whatever struggles you are facing currently. I believe self-compassion is the gateway to progress, and mindfulness is a central tenet in my practice. With over two years of clinical experience working with those struggling with a variety of mental health concerns, and over 30 years of experience working through my own healing journey, I have a plethora of tools and knowledge to utilize to help you through your journey of recovery and growth. I utilize CBT, DBT, EMDR and Brainspotting in my sessions. My job is to help you learn self-efficacy, increase your skills in navigating the messiness of being a human, and help you grow along your journey to healing and self-acceptance. It would be an honor for me to walk with you on a sacred path of healing toward the joy and freedom you crave and deserve. Whatever it is, we’ll do it together.
