As a counselor, I want to help people search tenaciously for emotionally safe and healthy connections. I want to help people connect with themselves and others. I lean strongly toward attachment theory and want to help people discover and process their deep-rooted attachments and sense of belonging. I am passionate about assisting people to heal and mend the connection that has been broken or disrupted within themselves or with a loved one. For some, this means walking through the grief process, while for others, it might mean working to heal an attachment wound. Whatever it might be, I want to help my clients find what they need. I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy and utilize this methodology to help individuals and couples. Often, people's struggles and conflicts stem back to their past selves. It is more than just what one can see on the surface but rather what is more profound within a person. I want to assist my clients in making those epiphanies. Seeking therapy is challenging. I help provide a safe place for clients to share and process their pains and hurts. It does not matter if a person is young or old, single, in a happy relationship, or struggling with their partner. We all long for meaningful connection and security, and I want to provide the space for anyone ready to go on that journey.
