About

Are you feeling stuck? Whether it is current stressors or past events, sometimes we need help. I work with anxiety, trauma, sexual assault, dissociation, and depression. I love walking with folks through life transitions including entering or exiting college and grad school, and relationships. I believe my role is to offer exploration through tools, curiosity and support to move towards healing. I was trained as a generalist mental health counselor and then held positions as a trauma specialist. I have a passion for working with queer folks, nonbinary folks, and trans individuals.

I believe that trust and choice are essential to therapy. Therapy can increase understanding of your emotions and mind. This understanding can increase feelings of empowerment and trust in yourself. I am EMDRIA certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).

My approach has been described as gentle, compassionate, supportive while meeting goals. I use a person-centered approach taking into account a client’s cultural background and oppression they may experience from society. I'm happy to set up a time to chat and see if we are a good fit and answer any questions you have. I'm looking forward to knowing you!
