Hi, my name is Shawna Kaneshiro. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s Degree in Counseling with a focus in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I've also completed additional training for Prepare/Enrich Marriage and Premarital assessments, perinatal (conception to a year after birth) mood and anxiety disorders, Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1, military culture, and suicide intervention skills. I am also a National Certified Counselor. My area of focus is on relationships, intimacy, postpartum, prenatal, parenting, premarital, and marital counseling. I'm all about the “Aloha Spirit” and live my life with love, compassion, patience, warmth, respect, and honesty toward others. I believe that the “Aloha Spirit” is an essential part of relationships and I strive to bring the “Aloha Spirit” out in others. I believe that everyone has a story to tell and different experiences to share. When sharing, we are able to connect as human beings and able to learn and grow as individuals. I want to connect and help you explore the issues you are having in order to help you live authentically to who you are and help you reach the goals you want to achieve.
