About

I am passionate about and specialize in working with the LGBTQIA+ population, including clients exploring sexual/romantic orientation, gender expression, and transition. I work with adults 18 and up. I have experience working with grief/loss, trauma, crisis, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, substance abuse, and PTSD. I am accepting and affirming of all genders, races, nationalities, ages, and abilities. I utilize a person-centered approach and an eclectic combination of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy (MBCBT).

When I am not working, I love spending time with my partner and family, including 2 dogs and 2 cats. I recharge by reading, dancing, and gardening. I believe deeply in self-care and finding time to do the little things in life that make you happy. I enjoy helping clients find and take part in the little things that make them happy and help them thrive.

Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or in a funk? Is your brain working overtime against you? Maybe you are feeling uncomfortable in your own skin or that you don’t fit in anywhere or with anyone. I would love to work with you to find and begin to embrace the best version of yourself so you can navigate the world and face all of its challenges head-on.
