About

Are you struggling with a sense of futility because of a setback in your relationship or your career? Do you feel that there are recurrent patterns in your life that do not serve you well? Do you too often suffer from a sense of anxiety that you cannot define or cope with? Do you find yourself bored or basically unhappy with your life? Counseling and psychotherapy can help you address these and other life issues. Understanding yourself can help you grow and change ways of thinking, acting and even feeling, so that life can be fuller for you.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist, trained in a number of treatment modalities, with an emphasis on psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral and family system techniques. This allows me to adapt the tools I use in the counseling process to the particular difficulties being experienced by my clients.

Having been exposed to different cultures in the course of my life, I am particularly sensitive to diversity and the different contexts which shape people's lives. My work across the age spectrum has helped me be sensitive to developmental issues, and the fundamental need for respect and understanding.
