Hello, my name is Sharon, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with an undergraduate degree in Sociology /Criminal Justice and graduate degree in Social Work (MSW). I am licensed in the state of Virginia and DC and have been providing outpatient therapy for over 5 years with an abundance of life experience that can benefit many of my clients. I am also a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) and have worked and helped clients with substance use disorders and other addictions for over 15 years. I further have experience in facilitating groups for substance abuse/relapse prevention, anger management, conflict resolution, and parenting issues. My counseling style is open and honest but warm and relatable. I like to focus on mind, body and spirit as a person needs to feel whole and well in all three areas. I practice in my scope of expertise that is bond by my own ethical principles as well as a professional code of ethics. I look forward to collaborating with you so that you can live your best.
