Sharlisa is known for providing clients with nurturing tailored therapeutic services that can be integrated into their daily lives. She views herself as a manufacturer of hope and healing. She provides culturally competent, holistic, and wellness focused services that promote transformative healing through transformative change by optimizing a client centered approach that utilizes knowledge, early interventions, open communication, somatic experiencing & increased awareness. It's your time. Sharlisa assists clients on various issues, including but not limited too, trauma, anxiety, OCD, depression, mood regulation, grief, personal recovery and growth, life transitional stages. She tailors her treatment approach from an individual perspective integrating techniques, Somatic Experiencing (SE), Therapy, EMDR and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy Sharlisa speaks regularly at several schools within the South Bay to bring attention to the importance of mental health services to the community. Sharlisa is also a Parent Project Facilitator. Sharlisa and her husband have been married for 20 years and have 6 beautiful daughters. Sharlisa loves writing poetry, hiking, and spending time with her family.
