I have many years of experience in child welfare, fostering, domestic violence, and sexual abuse. I have experience working with victims of sexual abuse and their caretakers, helping in the healing process. I provide services in the areas of - Children and adolescents with behavioral and sexual issues - Anxiety and depression (including postpartum depression) - Relationship challenges: couples and families - Phase-of-life changes, grief, and loss - Life stresses and next steps. I have provided group therapy helping others to work on enhancing their self-esteem, image, and understanding grief and loss. When providing therapy, I work with each person to determine goals and to create a customized treatment plan to meet the unique needs of the individual. I am also willing to consider providing therapy services in the school or home, if there is a need. Having a multicultural home makes me culturally sensitive and competent and able to work with children and families to provide a sense of comfortability; regardless of race.
