About

I believe that we all can grow and change AND also need assistance and guidance at times to become unstuck from our current mindset and circumstances. I believe in the mind- body connection and how that connects to our mental health. graduated with a Masters in Community Counseling in 2006 from the University of Northern Colorado and have worked in the field since that time. As a therapist, I am dedicated to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space to support clients in growth and change. Focusing on the client- therapist relationship initially is important to build trust and rapport.

My focus initially was substance abuse and through the years transitioned into a focus of trauma and pursued continued education in EMDR. I currently work with the needs of trauma, depression, anxiety, and addiction. I utilize a client centered approach and will incorporate DBT, CBT and EMDR as it fits the needs of the individual.

My hobbies include running, hiking, reading, yoga and escaping to the outdoors whenever possible.
