Greetings! My name is Shannon, and I am a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor located in Destrehan, Louisiana. I entered the counseling force in hopes to help individuals, couples, and families across all backgrounds, ages, and sexual orientations in dealing with various difficulties like anxiety, depression, grief/loss, sexuality, addiction, or relationship issues. Life is hard, and we do not do hard alone. Sometimes, we don't know what's wrong, but processing our behaviors and emotions in a safe, nonjudgmental environment has been proven to be therapeutic in itself. I meet my clients where they are, and provide a non-judgmental, safe environment necessary to process past experiences. During our journey together, we will identify areas you feel are problematic, and work to improve those areas by creating goal-focused treatment plans. Everyone needs a trusted, confidential source of social-emotional support. Sometimes, that source of support must come from outside our very inner circle of trusted individuals, and that's okay!
