Maybe you’ve been struggling with communicating effectively in your various relationships or trying to heal from a relationship that recently ended? Do you find you have a hard time controlling your emotions or anger? As a therapist, I approach counseling from a Person-Centered perspective, but pull from a variety of different theories, depending on my clients needs and goals. I most commonly integrate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness and Relaxation Techniques, Role Playing and Motivational Interviewing. I believe creating a warm, welcoming, and non judgmental environment is vital in helping a client move towards their goals. My approach with each client is genuine and compassionate.
