Accepting new clients. With a blend of solution-focused therapy and mindfulness teachings, I help my clients develop skills to relate more effectively with their anxieties and sense of self, navigate the complexities of dating or marriage, and engage with life’s most prevalent existential questions. I’m a firm believer in taking control of one’s circumstances through self-compassion and agency. What my clients learn: manage anxiety in a culture that promotes urgency, strategies for dealing with stress, self-awareness in ones dating patterns and how to work through them, and differentiating between intuition and fear. We will build resiliency with uncomfortable emotions, deconstruct societal norms to improve self-esteem and authenticity, discover your truth through the elements of nature, music and movement. For couples: manage conflict with tangible communication skills and strengthen emotional and sexual intimacy. I am a Level 2- certified Gottman therapist. I closely align my practice with the philosophies of several thought leaders. From Matthew Hussey's dating wisdom and Esther Perel's expertise in intimacy to Pema Chodron's mindfulness practices and Dr. Shefali's guidance on self-awareness, I incorporate what is best suited for my clients’ situation while taking into account our modern challenges.
