I have a personable style with clients and strive to create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere in session where clients feel comfortable bringing issues at stake to light. I carry a diverse caseload with an emphasis on working with clients who are parents of, caregivers of, siblings of, and persons with developmental disabilities. I see ages 18+. I believe in helping people to problem-solve and create opportunities for themselves. I use a common-sense approach to helping clients and work collaboratively with them to set goals. I enjoy helping people learn through adversity and find their own inner-strength. View 4 Photos I have been working with families challenged by neurodiversity for over 10 years. I understand that many family members go through a period of grief around the initial diagnosis of a loved one with a developmental delay such as Autism or Intellectual Disability. I also offer clay therapy groups for re-connection with the self and anxiety relief. I help family members with the resulting strain, anxiety, and or depression that having or caring for someone with a lifelong disability can bring. I work with clients to provide insight and understanding around the disability, minimize symptoms of anxiety and depression, and identify resources they may need to best support themselves and their loved ones.
