About
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who is a retiree of the U.S. Army. During my time in service, I practiced as a Clinical Social Worker in which I developed a passion for serving others during times of crisis. I bring knowledge and therapeutic experience from a variety of settings that include trauma, sexual assault, addiction medicine, domestic violence, child and adolescent therapy, crisis management, and marriage and family therapy. I am licensed in Florida, Texas, and North Carolina. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy), CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD), and PE (Prolonged Exposure Training), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), but will formulate my treatment plan according to the agreed up approach between myself and my clients. I continue to broaden my experience as a PhD student studying International Psychology to provide advocacy and consulting support for humanitarian work with International Populations. My concentrations for work are in Middle East and Africa. Additionally, I hold membership with the Middle Eastern psychological Association (MEPA).
