I support individuals, couples, and youth struggling with anxiety, stress, depression, and relationship issues. This fast paced life can be overwhelming. Jobs are stressful and demanding. Sometimes finding that additional reserve of calm needed for managing our intimate relationships and child rearing can be challenging. As a wife, mother, and design professional of over 15 years, I understand the stress of managing interpersonal conflicts with a difficult boss or co-workers, unmanageable workloads, and the ongoing demands of an ever-changing, competitive work environment. I also know how hard it is to balance work and home life. Our foundation will be person-centered therapy and together we will create a safe, non-judgemental space to talk about feelings and experiences. Part of our work will be discovering the thoughts and feelings that drive us and sometimes keep us trapped. We will also explore self-care and how to nurture ourselves when we need it most. Philosophically, I believe we humans are multi-faceted and therapeutically I focus on what is working already and how to capture more of that, in addition to focusing on issues and problems. Together we will rediscover inner strengths, self-worth, potential, and strategize ways to overcome obstacles and achieve a healthier, more balanced, life.
