About

I establish trust with the people I have the honor of working with. I ask for consent, and I use tools and techniques with gentleness and mindfulness. I work collaboratively, I ask about goals, dreams and aspirations, and am transparent about what I am doing and why and how I intend to support. If something is not working or doesn't feel good, I am always open to trying a different way or bringing in additional support as needed. Part of my commitment to doing this work is doing my own work, and I remain active in building my own ability to be present, resourceful, skilled, and energized to provide support.

In my therapy practice, I see each client as their own healer and agent of change, and support by fanning the embers of wisdom and nourishing the roots of transformation. I incorporate mindfulness, somatic awareness and processing, liberation-based psychotherapy and EMDR to release trauma and create room for peace and balance to take shape.

My practice was born out of my own need for healing and holistic care. I understand pain and suffering because I too have suffered and struggled. If you want to work with someone who gets it, not just in an academic way but a personal way, I am here for you. It would be my honor to hold space for you and support your recovery and healing.
