I view the therapeutic environment as a place where you can find healing through self-discovery, gaining insight, exploring unhealthy thought patterns, and developing more effective strategies in dealing with your life's challenges. As a therapist, I work collaboratively, and strive to create a safe and supportive environment that facilitates growth with regards to your sense of well-being, authenticity, and ability to create change in your life. I work with clients who are experiencing relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, trauma and abuse, and issues related to adjustment/life transitions, acculturation, and stress. I have extensive experience working with undergraduate, graduate and international students. Additionally, I conduct therapy both in English and Turkish. I am happy to work with clients with a variety of insurance coverage when coverage includes out-of-network privilege. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions. My office is located near the Farragut North (Red Line) and the Farragut West (Orange and Blue Lines) metro stops.
