About

My practice is built on a foundation of humanistic psychology and framed by healthcare for the whole person (physical, emotional, and social health). I believe that healing happens in safe places and within trusted relationships, and I enjoy collaborating with people to overcome obstacles on the path to a healthier, more fulfilling life. I offer psychotherapy/counseling as well as psychological testing and evaluation services, including pre-surgical evaluations.

I work with individuals who struggle with addiction, anxiety, depression, and adjusting to difficult life circumstances. Additionally, I have specialized training in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), stress management interventions for cancer patients and survivors, and psychological testing and evaluation.

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and Certified Advanced Drug & Alcohol Counselor (CAADC). I received my M.A. in Psychology from the University of West Georgia and my doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) at Mercer University in Atlanta.
