About

Now accepting clients for the 24-25 school year. I am fascinated by the resilience of the human body/mind to withstand stress and continue to grow. How we evolve in reaction to adversity can be automatic or we can learn to have more choice in our responsiveness. Therapy is the process of learning to slow down, reflect, and move forward with greater influence over our actions. Connecting teens with the ability to be self-reflective early in their lives will be a resource as they mature. Adolescence is a potent time to intervene with self-destructive behaviors and course correct for success.

I strive to be an authentic, stabilizing influence on my young clients, to offer an objective perspective on their lives and skillfully challenge them. I want to help young people set healthy boundaries and develop strong self-care strategies. Young adults deserve to be deeply seen and non-judgmentally heard.

The families of teens can be deeply effected by their growth and the shift in the family dynamic. I believe parents need to grow in response to their maturing children. My body-oriented approach to psychotherapy helps families mindfully inhabit the present moment and find greater satisfaction in one another.
