I have clinical experience developing coping skills for ADHD, processing childhood trauma, and focusing on difficult life transitions. Whether it’s mental health maintenance or processing a deep hurt, I desire to provide a comfortable environment where people from all backgrounds can meet their emotions without judgment or fear. I see the client-therapist relationship as an alliance. Together we will discuss your story, understand your needs, and experience feelings past and present as a journey towards healing. My hope is for you to leave the session feeling seen and empowered. In my own therapeutic work, I have found Expressive Arts to be helpful in healing, even if one isn't "artistically inclined". Sometimes when talking isn't always the solution, creativity steps in to help process. With all of my clients, I often use an eclectic approach, with an emphasis on Somatic Techniques and Emotion Focused Therapy. As your therapist, I will bring a warm presence, emotional space for you to explore and process, and even some humor to the table. Having ADHD myself, I understand what it's like to be overwhelmed by tasks and feel misunderstood. Regardless of the issue, I hope to provide education, empathy, and practical skills for you to find a way back to yourself again.
