About

I approach therapy with warmth and compassion, using humor to help members feel comfortable and supported. I actively encourage leaning into discomfort and challenging OCD, emphasizing self-compassion, acceptance, and living out your values. At NOCD, my team and I specialize in evidence-based treatment for OCD, ensuring proper diagnosis and care through our understanding of its nuances. We are extensively trained in Exposure Response and Prevention Therapy (ERP), the gold standard for OCD treatment. When you start with NOCD, you’ll either work with me or be paired with one of my colleagues – this will depend on your preferences.

We’ll work to get to know you and create a treatment plan to help you achieve your goals. Plus, we offer support between sessions through messaging and a community of peers with OCD, ensuring you never feel alone. First, know that this is common. OCD thrives on fear, even creating specific fears about how a therapist will respond to your thoughts.

Sharing these thoughts is the first step toward regaining your life from OCD. While these conversations can be difficult, I will support you in discussing them at a manageable pace. I look forward to working with you and helping you conquer your OCD.
