Therapists » Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor
Only Accepting telehealth appointments on Friday between 9am and 1PM, otherwise on a waitlist. I enjoy working with adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, work/university/college stress, life transitions, or other forms of emotional and behavioral distress. I provide a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental environment for clients to explore their concerns and to to develop coping skills in a safe space. I believe in the power of the human-animal bond and time spent in nature to accelerate client discovery, insight and growth. I work on a peaceful farm in Hillsborough with an office, acreage to explore, mini-horses, a donkey, and quarter horses as animal co-therapists. I incorporate animals and nature into telehealth sessions too. Experiencing a connection with animals and nature combined with a strong therapeutic relationship can help facilitate insight and change for clients. My counseling style is person-centered, integrating interventions from cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, trauma informed equine assisted psychotherapy, and solution-focused brief therapy. If you are experiencing distressing symptoms, we will work collaboratively to tailor sessions that address your specific goals.
