About

I am Sarah Kulefsky, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, who is passionate about the well-being of others. I’ve successfully treated children with a variety of issues including anxiety, ADHD, trauma, grief and illness, and adjustment issues. My competency lies in my ability to connect with my clients. I use art and play techniques to try and understand underlying needs. With these tools, I also help my clients learn more about their behaviors and explore new ways to interact and communicate more effectively in a fun and safe environment.

My specialty is working with children of all ages and teens. I strive to use my skills, talents, and creativity to offer them ways to build confidence, leadership, and a sense of direction to steer and better their lives. Always open to new ideas and opportunities, I believe that what works for one may not work for another and tailor my treatment plans.

My approach is to treat all clients with respect and care, protecting and safeguarding their privacy as well as promote and enhance confidence and self-esteem. As a team player, I believe there are times that collaboration and I am mindful to balance both the need for privacy and the need for collaboration so my client feels heard and protected.
