About

We all have strengths and weaknesses. In my practice, I like to uncover and nurture the many strengths that my clients possess. I encourage my clients to use these strengths to their advantage and to continually uncover additional strengths and resilience. Within my therapeutic approach, I use a variety of theories and modalities to assist in understanding and treating clients. I use existential and psychoanalytic theories which consider a person’s childhood experiences, attachments, and the deeper question of creating meaning in life.

I employ Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Art Therapy in my treatment of clients. These techniques allow us to explore feelings, thoughts, and behaviors and provide a variety of powerful coping skills to assist clients in relief from their damaging behaviors and thoughts.

Everyone needs support at times. We cannot be expected to struggle silently and alone. I provide a judgment-free space to share, explore, and find solutions to your struggles. Let’s work together to identify and change unhealthy patterns in your life. Success in therapy is highly dependent on therapist-client fit. I encourage you to contact me.
