About

I work with clients to define goals to work on in counseling, and to work to reinforce strengths clients already have within themselves and foster new strengths to help clients achieve their goals. I tailor clinical therapy approaches depending on the unique and specific needs of each individual. I have experience working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem issues, attachment/codependency, stress management, grief, and military/Veteran issues.

My approach for therapy tends to be a Person Centered and Humanistic, and my style is direct in confronting barriers that are keeping clients from achieving goals. I want clients to feel empowered to take control of their life, and to make the positive changes that they want to see. I have experience with utilizing CBT, and I am a EMDR trained therapist.

Reaching out and making changes can be uncomfortable, but it's in this discomfort that change and progress occur. If you’re struggling and are looking for a sounding board and someone to help you navigate the complexities of life, I would love to meet with you and work together to support you and to help strategize how you can live a more fulfilling life.
