I have 17 years experience working with children and families in public and private schools as a school psychologist. As a therapist, I love working with kids ages 4-12, and adults, to help them identify and build upon their strengths to meet their individual goals. I see clients who may be experiencing difficult life transitions (e.g. death of a loved one, recent changes within the family), anxiety, depression, school or other learning challenges, clients who are gifted or twice-exceptional (2E), and neurodiverse clients-think ADHD, Autism, AuDHD (may be diagnosed or self-identify as neurodiverse). I am often described as kind, approachable, silly, and creative, and I utilize play therapy in my work with minor clients. I prefer to use a variety of play therapy modes to meet clients' individual needs. I work closely with parents to support their children, and I am also trained in EMDR, an evidence-based approach for treating trauma. You are not alone, although it may feel like you are sometimes. I would love to work together to help navigate whatever it is you may be experiencing. Please contact me to see if I would be a good fit for your therapy goals and needs.
