I have been in the counseling field for 25 years. I have extensive experience assisting clients who are experiencing emotional pain, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles and other personal challenges. My goal is to provide a safe, respectful environment where clients can examine their challenges and rediscover their strengths. I recognize that the first step to seek a therapist takes courage. My therapeutic style is direct but supportive. I recognize that every client's experience is unique. My therapeutic approach is tailored to address their specific concerns, navigate “next steps” and move toward long term solutions. In addition to therapy services, I am experienced in executive coaching and leading experiential workshops. I am a Certified Daring Way(tm) Facilitator and trained with Dr. Brené Brown author of Daring Greatly and Rising Strong. The Daring Way(tm) is based on Dr. Brown’s research and was developed to help individuals, couples and teams live braver lives. I believe in treating the whole person not just symptoms. The primary focus is on increasing authenticity, addressing vulnerability, developing shame resilience and, learning to live wholeheartedly. Therapy is a commitment of time and energy. I appreciate you considering me on this journey toward healing. Please phone or email with questions or concerns.
