My hope and intent is that in working with me you will develop a relationship with your thoughts, urges, emotions, and sensations that is flexible and compassionate. Grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Functional Analytic Psychotherapy, my approach is an experiential one – this simply means that we will consult your experience again and again to figure out what you need, what you value, and what works to move you towards vitality and wholeness. We will bring curiosity and awareness to what unfolds in the present moment and use sessions to experiment with new behaviors and support new learning. This kind of approach can help with a wide range of problems, and I have experience supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and many of the other forms that human stuckness and suffering can take. Regardless of diagnosis, I love working with clients who are wanting to find their way towards greater connection, integrity, and meaning. The relationship between you and me will be the context for exploring how you relate to your self, to your experience, and to others. I promise to show up to our work with authenticity, presence, and courage. If you think I might be the right fit for the work you want to do, please reach out!
