About

Experiencing emotional pain, worry about the future, and feeling stuck are common human conditions. Through therapy you can find new ways to change and relate differently to your feelings, thoughts, and actions. It is possible to live the life you’d like to live, and our work together can bring you closer to that reality. I provide a warm, supportive, collaborative and non-judgmental space where it is possible not only to reduce mental health symptomatology, but also to enhance the quality of your life through engagement in valued living. I offer both structured, time-limited treatment, and more exploratory, supportive work.

I specialize in addressing anxiety, trauma and PTSD, depression, intimate partner violence, life transitions and adjustment concerns in individuals 18 and older. I draw from my prior training and work experiences in the National Center for PTSD at VA Boston, McLean Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, and BU's Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness and acceptance-based behavioral interventions. I have extensive experience utilizing evidence-based treatments, which I apply flexibly to meet the unique needs of the person I am working with. Please contact me for a free phone consultation if you'd like to learn more.
