In the past, clients have described our work together as meaningful, and have found my openness, compassion, and attempts to understand and creatively solve problems refreshing. I believe it is important to work together with clients collaboratively and strive to ensure a level of safety. In my practice, I attempt to understand the whole person, piecing together the many dimensions of clients' issues. Issues that relate to personal identity are important in my work with many clients. For example, I have considerable expertise and experience working with difficulties related to academic and life transitions, relationships and couples, postpartum adjustment, college and graduate student life, as well as concerns related to culture and identity. Please feel free to call or e-mail me . . . I would be very happy to talk with you and see if I can be of help.
