About

My work with clients uses a collaborative, person-centered approach that is uniquely adapted to address presenting concerns and symptom presentation. I utilize strategies grounded in evidence-based theoretical approaches from cognitive, behavioral, dialectical, and solution-focused orientations. Treatment goals and objectives are developed together with the client and periodically reviewed for progress in a safe, supportive environment.

Counseling techniques are employed to deliver a tailored approach aimed at decreasing problematic behaviors, relieving distressing symptoms, and enhancing skills in various areas of living. Examples of issues that may be a focus of treatment include improving coping skills, promoting self-awareness, exploring choices, achieving goals, and enhancing relationship skills.
