Therapy is a process of self exploration, acceptance, healing and recognition of ones own strengths and goals. I strongly believe that we have tremendous potential and through commitment to ourselves we all can build a life we dream about, where there is peace and fulfillment. My professional training in clinical social work, experience working with a diverse population and constant need to learn about best practices has shaped my understanding of a variety of personal and societal issues. My Client focus is Veterans, Couples, Families dealing with PTSD/Trauma/Family Issues/Marital Issues/Grief/Loss and Mens Issues. My Theoretical orientation includes cognitive Behavioral Therapy , Systems Theory and Eastern Philosophy. I am aware and respectful of multicultural and diversity issues. My goal is to collaborate and assist you to identify thought patterns and behaviors that create a not so perfect life. I specialize in CBT, which is a form of talk therapy that helps you become more aware of negative thinking and this eventually enables you to respond to any given situation more efficiently. I also use motivational interviewing techniques in providing guidance by establishing a safe space that allows you to find solution to your presenting problems.
