I specialize in working with a diverse population of military, veterans, first responders, and well as their family members. Many face unique issues of stress, culture, stigma, trauma, adjustment and more. Integrating many styles, I meet clients where they are and utilize a humanistic approach to each person’s ability to integrate their strengths so they may overcome obstacles. Clients can have a safe space to share concerns and learn skills to work through challenges. My goal is to encouragingly scaffold clients as they heal while feeling seen and heard during their season of growth. I have a credible perspective from military life experience as well as graduate level credentials for working with the military community. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to see how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors interact and shape our experiences we can work together to utilize strengths to garner new insight. The counseling experience requires the client to trust the process of growth and have faith in themselves to do the work. As you are the expert in your life, I hope to walk with you in this journey. I invite you to call me and share what I can do to support you.
