Many folks seek therapy due to a disconnection from themselves, others, or community. Sometimes this disconnection shows up as distracting worries, relationship strain, or mood troubles. For others, they carry distinct dissatisfaction and stuckness. If any of this is resonating with you, I am so glad you are considering therapy. Change often happens through identifying and adapting relationship patterns. Change might also happen across cognitive (thoughts), behavioral (action-based), or emotional (name, express, and be with feelings) therapy interventions. Paired with my training, who I am as a person adds to our work through humor, compassion, understanding, and believing in you. When we meet, we will take a few sessions to help me understand who you are and what’s working (or not). Your experience of how heard and accepted you feel over those first sessions can help you check the fit between us. I will support you with identifying a few specific goals, then share options for how we can use our time to work towards those goals.
