Are you feeling stuck or invalidated? Are you struggling with loving your body? Do you want to feel at home and safe in your body? Change is hard, and you deserve the support you need. My goal is to aid in guiding clients to creating the life they desire. I believe that therapy is a powerful tool, and the therapeutic alliance is crucial to change. I’m a licensed clinical social work associate. Before outpatient work, I worked as a primary therapist in a residential eating disorder treatment center. I practice through a Health at Every Size (HAES) framework and believe everyone should feel safe in their bodies. I believe that the best care should be accessible to all, and this is reflected in my practice. I use an eclectic approach to treatment – integrating Psychodynamic, Attachment Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and parts work, among others in my practice to provide comprehensive, individualized care. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, eating disorders, disordered eating, trauma, self-harm, personality disorders, and ADD/ADHD. I am an LGBTQ+-affirming therapist and believe everyone should have a safe place to heal. Recently, I've become trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to aid in healing.
