About

Hi! I'm Samantha, and I look forward to meeting with you. Maybe you've found my page because you're struggling with depression, anxiety, or trauma, or maybe you've had difficulties regulating intense emotions. Clients that are drawn to therapy with me may identify as emotionally sensitive people - one of my goals as a therapist is to support folks in validating their experience & navigating a society that doesn't often value emotions. I'm also passionate about working with themes of burnout, identity exploration, self-worth, and grief. I enjoy working with teens and adults, as well as the LGBTQIA+ population.

I value using evidence-based therapy (such as DBT, ACT, & CBT), as well as creatively finding what works and aligns for you and your goals. A session with me might include learning some coping skills, developing self-compassion, challenging unhelpful thoughts, laughter & humor, and a collaborative, nonjudgmental space to process/experience your emotions.

I was drawn to this field after my own experiences with mental health and therapy. As a person with lived experience, I understand how hard it can be to reach out. I commit to showing up authentically to meet you where you're at. If you're considering therapy, I encourage you to contact me, and I'm excited to work alongside you in your healing journey.
