Hello, I’m Samantha My name is Samantha Coots, and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, and I am based in Eastern Ky with clients statewide via Telehealth. I have 5 years’ experience working with children, youth and young adults. I have worked with many different behavioral health conditions with specialized training in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy. I also have experience working with adults with many different behavioral health conditions and substance use. I have found that my therapeutic style can work with adolescents, young adults and older adults who may be dealing with the challenges of life transitions and social pressures. This often takes the form of anxiety, depression, stress, and PTSD. I tend to be open, honest and straightforward with my clients. I am not afraid to call your attention to the negative as well as the positives. I want to bring a calm, comfortable and compassionate space to clients I see.
