About

I specialize in the treatment of behavioral health disorders for motivated clients who are interested in collaborating and working to attain their goals. We will work together, primarily focused on the current situation and its solution, rather than the past. Through scientifically- supported methods, we will concentrate on your views and beliefs about your life, and how they are tied to your behaviors and emotions.

I use a cognitive behavioral approach to the treatment of life's problems. Through a structured approach of investigating the interconnections between thoughts, behaviors, and emotions, a plan of action is implemented to enhance both physical and mental health. The goal at RBS is to live consistent with our values, or what we identify is important to us.

If you've tried "talk therapy," only to find that it's not a good fit, schedule an appointment today to give cognitive behavior therapy a try. Strategies include breathing retraining, mindfulness, exposure and response prevention, acceptance and commitment, and learning to give yourself some compassion for what has been, while becoming who you want to be.
