Sally has been practicing as a licensed therapist and has worked in the mental health field for 25+ years. She has a wide range of experience and has treated a broad spectrum of populations in counseling groups, individuals and couples. Her areas of practice include working with individuals that have bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, PTSD, OCD, borderline personality disorder. Sally specializes in dialectical behavior therapy, and also incorporates interpersonal and cognitive behavioral therapies into treatment. She helps clients to find a life worth living, learning to change behaviors, emotions and thoughts that cause chronic distress. She believes that clients want to improve. Thus, she helps them to gain a better understanding of how their behaviors, emotions and thoughts are linked to problems in life. Her goal is to provide guidance with problem solving and other skills needed to self-manage emotional and mental health, so that ultimately, healing takes place and transcendent goals can be reached.
