"There are many ways of getting strong, sometimes talking is the best way..." - Andre Agassi ....Individuals from all walks of life, ethnicities, and backgrounds experience feelings of depression, anxiety, frustration, or hopelessness. We sometimes find ourselves unable to communicate the way we would like to or lack the motivation to even try. Therapy is a process. As a therapist, I carefully examine, assess, and evaluate a client's needs and condition as well as discuss the goals of therapy. I use a psychoanalytic and cognitive-behavioral approach with my clients. We talk about distorted thought processes, negative self-talk, and where these patterns seem to stem from. I have extensive experience working with adults, couples, and teens from various cultural backgrounds in assisting them to find stability and fulfillment in their lives. It's not simply mental health that is impacted by life's stressors and difficulties, it is our entire well being. My aim is to help you find that balance.
