Therapists » Marriage & Family Therapist
I have over 15 years of experience treating children, couples and families using an integrated approach based on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and family systems theories. My primary interests are in communication, self-expression, self-esteem, anxiety and behavior problems. I served as the Student and Associate Chair of the Georgia Association of Marriage and Family Therapists from 2009 -2012. I am the founder of Adaptive Therapy Counseling Group, LLC in Lilburn and Alpharetta, where I have treated individuals and families suffering from eating disorders, anxiety disorders and mood disorders for over 10 years. Adaptive Therapy uses many different therapeutic approaches to help individuals, couples and families strengthen their relationships with themselves and others. Through a combination of developing communication skills and building an understanding of how you relate to others, you create a sense of confidence to productively handle any experience. Adaptive Therapy focuses on building skills and insights that help improve the ability to make decisions and adjustments to handle any difficult situation.
