The most important journey you may make in your life is the journey of building an honest and compassionate relationship with yourself. From shame, pride, trauma, and introjected "shoulds" there are so many reasons that we often operate from a partial and compassionless understanding of ourselves. These blind spots can cause us anxiety, depression, addictions and a multitude of other symptoms that we mistake to be "who we are". I have faith in the human condition and the ability our heal into our own fullness. Therapy is the place to make this journey. View 4 Photos My approach is collaborative, warm, compassionate, honest, and intuitive. I focus as much on your strengths as I might your struggles. I value both long term therapy as well as short-term therapy directed towards accomplishing immediate goals in both your personal and professional life. I work from a multitude of modalities including but not limited to: attachment (AEDP), ecopsychology, R-CS (Hakomi), somatic inquiry, spiritual inquiry, metaphor, imagery, cognitive behavioral, psychosynthesis, and mindfulness. In working with couples I primarily work from an approach called Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) that supports healthy adult attachment.
