My approach is rooted in principles of psychoanalysis, mindfulness, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I believe that my role as a therapist is to help clients discover, engage, and understand the (sometimes contradictory and conflicting) parts of the self. I believe that this brings about greater insight and understanding of who we are in the world. What follows is greater effectiveness and fulfillment, a stronger sense of meaning and purpose, and more levity and resilience in life. My work incorporates psychoanalysis, mindfulness, attachment theory, and aims to go beyond intellectual understanding to experiential catharsis and change. I have assisted clients from diverse backgrounds and professions reach their potential and overcome barriers to growth and personal and professional development. Contact me for a complimentary phone consultation. I reserve limited spots for reduced-fee clients as well. Apply if you believe you may be eligible. Engaging in an inquisitive and honest dialogue with the self in therapy can be a challenging and rewarding journey that brings about deep insight and lasting change.
