About

I work with adults using a variety of styles and techniques in a non-judgmental atmosphere, to incorporate what is most helpful and holistic. The areas that I have focused on the most with clients include life transitions, relationships, boundaries, communication, parenting, assertiveness, anxiety, depression, grief, goal setting, decision-making, career development, self-confidence, and trauma related concerns/disorders. I believe it is never too late to experience growth, healing, a sense of purpose, and feel a sense of connection to others and to your true self.

I obtained my M.A. degree in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. My approach draws on an integration of complementary therapeutic methods, primarily relying on person-centered therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. I am trained in EMDR Therapy to help clients heal from distress related to a traumatic experience.

Selecting a counselor is an act of vulnerability and empowerment. Everyone has a story to tell, and it is important to feel safe, seen, and heard, but not all of us experience this to our satisfaction. It’s important to find a counselor that is the right fit for you. I hope I get the opportunity to meet you, hear your story, and work together.
